Short stay in a big city
Moscow is way more colourful and wilder than I’d expected. Guess there making up for generations of greyness. There’s a summer buzz about the place. An affluence I hadn’t expected. Like any European City. I'm told Moscow is not Russia.
I trawled all the obvious tourist sights just to get the photos, so you'd know that I'd been there : Red Square ,the Kremlin and St Basils Cathedral- just like Disneyland.
Moscow's metro system features the most ridiculously extravagent furnished underground stations,with back lit stained glass, chandaliers and sculptures. Like Paris's, only funded by a dictator trying to make an impression.
