    Welcome to the Motherland

I'm in Russia in our appartment. It's midnight here - 4pm at home! The flight was okay - I moved around a bunch. Kling stretched out and passed out in our two seats after the flught attendants stranded me on the other side of the plane. So I mingled with Josh and Jen R, and Diana. The flight attendants on that side of the plane were nice. And by "That Side" I mean the plane was friggin huge! It could have been its own island if it had made a water 'landing.' We spent forever in JFK airport, an event that I'd rather not write about because of the bad emotions it stirs up. If i ever have to sit for that long there again I may just break something. 9 hours later though we're here. We're in an appartment (one for the gals and one for hte gents, we're not supposed to be renting appartments apparently, chalk up number one thing we should be arrested for). We went to a German resturant for dinner - where I had the best lamb I have ever had in my life. It was the last meal that they sent out - go me. It's okay though because everyone spent the rest of the night feeding me while I waited for my food (including part of Mummykin's Honey cake - Mental note: I need to find a recipe for that). Then we went to the ballet, which turned out to be more like a russian cultural dance expo. It was still very cool. Dance is amazing - I kinda wish I had stuck with it for longer. Then we went to the grocery store, that was an adventure. Sallie, Annabelle, Katie, Ritchey, Katie and I roamed around for a bit to find ice cream out at a little 24 hour Kiosk, all by ourselves on the streets of Moscow at midnight. Go us. Motherland - I love you already
